Rep. Price Votes for the INVEST in America Act

Today, Congressman David Price (NC-04), Chairman of the Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development Appropriations Subcommittee, voted in support of the INVEST in America Act, a $715 billion dollar surface transportation reauthorization and water infrastructure bill that would create good paying jobs, rebuild our infrastructure, and help our communities thrive.

"America needs bold investments to revitalize our aging infrastructure, and the INVEST in America Act answers this call," said Congressman David Price. "It's a roadmap to modernizing our infrastructure and building the foundation for future development while creating good employment opportunities for hardworking Americans. This bill represents a forward-thinking approach to building back better with a focus on climate resilience to mitigate future disasters."

"For the 4th District, four Member Designated Projects were included in the INVEST Act that will innovate and update our transportation systems for constituents. I am proud to support the INVEST Act, and as Chairman of the House Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development Appropriations Subcommittee, I will continue to work on parallel tracks to also pass our annual Fiscal Year 2022 Appropriations bill and get the American Jobs Plan across the finish line."
